This privacy policy describes how Tradelane ("we", "our", "the app") collects, uses, and protects information when you, a Shopify merchant, install our app or when your prospective B2B customers submit an application through it.

1. Who we are

Tradelane is a Shopify app operated by an independent developer based in the European Union.

2. What information we collect

We do not collect IP addresses, device fingerprints, payment information, or any tracking cookies.

We use this information solely to operate the Tradelane service:

We do not use this information for marketing, advertising, sharing or selling to third parties, training machine learning models, or cross-store profiling.

We do not share data with any other party. We do not use analytics services (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.) inside the app.

Under the GDPR (EU), the UK GDPR, and similar laws, data subjects have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, port, and object to processing of their personal data.

Applicants should contact the merchant whose store they applied to — the merchant is the data controller. The merchant can ask us to forward, correct, or delete the data via the standard Shopify GDPR webhook flow, which we handle automatically.

8. Cookies and tracking

The public Tradelane application form does not set any cookies. The Tradelane admin app, embedded inside the Shopify admin, inherits Shopify's own session cookies and adds none of its own.

9. Children

Tradelane is a B2B service for registered businesses. We do not knowingly process data from anyone under 18. If you believe we hold data on a minor, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International data transfers

Our database is in the European Union. If you submit an application from outside the EU, your data is transferred to and stored in the EU. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for any cross-border transfers where applicable.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. For material changes, we will email installed merchants at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
