3. The service
Tradelane provides:
A public B2B application form embedded in your storefront via Shopify app proxy.
An admin dashboard inside Shopify admin to review submitted applications.
Automatic creation of Shopify Companies and Company Locations on your approval.
Automatic attachment of approved Company Locations to your selected B2B Market.
Transactional email notifications to applicants (received, approved, rejected).
We provide the service "as is". We do our best to keep it running, but we don't guarantee any specific uptime or performance.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate information when configuring the app.
Use the app for its intended purpose only — handling B2B wholesale applications for your own Shopify store.
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the operation of the app.
Not use the app to send spam, phishing, or any unlawful communications to applicants.
Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including data protection laws.
Respond to applicants who submit through the public form in a reasonable timeframe (we recommend 2 business days).
5. Pricing and billing
The app costs $9.99 per month per Shopify store.
A 7-day free trial is provided when you install. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
Billing is handled by Shopify on our behalf. You'll see the charge on your regular Shopify invoice.
You can cancel at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin.
Refunds are not provided for partial months.
Shopify takes a revenue share from app subscriptions as per their developer agreement.
6. Data and ownership
Your data is yours. We process it on your behalf only to operate the service. We will never sell, share, or commercialize it.
Applicant data submitted through your form is also yours as the data controller. We are the data processor.

When you uninstall, we delete all data within 48 hours per Shopify's GDPR requirements.
7. Service availability
We aim for ≥99% monthly uptime but don't guarantee it.
We may perform scheduled maintenance with at least 24 hours notice via email.
We may experience unplanned outages — we'll communicate via email if they last longer than 2 hours.
We are not liable for losses caused by Shopify platform changes, third-party service outages, or your own configuration errors.
8. Termination
You can terminate at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin.
We may terminate your access if you violate these terms, use the app to harm applicants, or fail to pay.
If we terminate your account for cause, you will not be entitled to a refund.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, or data loss.
We are not liable for actions taken by Shopify on its platform or by third-party email providers.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes to the service or terms
We may change the service or these terms from time to time. For material changes to the terms, we'll email installed merchants at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
Continued use after the change indicates acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
